Every inch of space in this 1,800-square-foot restaurant is utilized to maximize your dining pleasure. There is a cozy bar offering cocktails and a small collection of domestic and craft beers and wine; it has five bar stools to accommodate diners or those waiting for a table. The dining area is decorated in earthy tones, shelves of books, original art and eclectic antiques and has 37 seats. Every white table-cloth-covered table is topped with brown craft paper and adorned with a single bloom in an antique bottle. Behind the bar, running the entire length of the restaurant, is the open kitchen that produces food folks are lining up for – pork shanks with hot sauce and blue cheese slaw; fresh seafood with hoppin' john, tomato chutney and boiled peanut sauce; NY strip with horseradish sauce, herb salt fries and arugula. The list goes on. They do not take reservations so be prepared to wait. But it's worth it.
